Valley Tawny really shines early in the season. Alongside Strawberry Cream she started churning out blooms mid July! If you're looking for one to get the dahlia season going this is it. It also has a very versatile coloring that works well with summer bouquets in many different color palettes. It shifted to more predominantly yellow towards the second half of the growing season, but for that first waves of blooms I didn't mind.
