Collection: Dahlia Tubers
About our Dahlias
Welcome to Flora's Garden where our dahlias are an extension of the family. We give them so much love an care all year round. We grow our dahlias using organic methods. We use beneficial insects and organza bags to protect our petals from damage. Between our fertilizing, beneficial insects and a little prayer we did not even need to use organza bags for the entire second half of the growing season. We harvest the dahlias often always using a 10:1 water bleach solution, using this same practice between every clump when we divide. We take sanitizing seriously in our efforts to get the highest quality and healthiest tubers to our customers. We cull throughout the season any suspicious or stunted plants. Rest assured we only sell healthy looking and productive varieties. We prioritize dahlias that work best as cut flowers and are always fine tuning our catalog to include the best cut flower varieties as well as some fun unicorns. In 2025 we grew around 1,500-1,600 dahlias and had good tuber production. It should be a great sale!
Sale and shipping details
Tubers will be shipped once danger of frost has passed. Most likely the end of March for warmer regions and the beginning of April for colder areas. This year we will provide a free shipping code to use after you place your first order. For your first order you will pay our flat rate $14 shipping fee. You will receive an order confirmation email which will include a free shipping code for any subsequent orders. Feel free to place as many orders as you want using that free shipping code. It would be helpful to enter you original order number in the notes section at checkout to help us combing your order but it's not necessary.
Tubers are guaranteed to be the correct variety and have at least one viable eye.
Please inspect your tuber upon arrival and alert me of any concerns. Store your dahlias at 40-50 degrees until time to plant. DO NOT let your tubers freeze, this will kill them.
Each order will receive a guide on how to grow and care for your dahlias.
Locals ONLY: I will have a pick-up option for you. Please select Pick-up instead of delivery to save on shipping fees. Remember I am located in Oakdale, Minnesota.
Pickup dates will be the mornings of the following 4 dates. March 20 +21 and April 17 + 18. Please plan on picking up on one of these days. We will not be coordinating individual pickup dates and we will cancel your order or invoice you shipping charges if you do not pick up by April 18.

Limit 1 varieties are limit one per household. If these limits are not honored I will cancel your entire order.
I was very ruthless with culling plants this year with the intention of sending out only my best looking, most productive, and overall healthiest varieties out into the world. That being said I will not be sending refunds for suspected virus. There are many factors that can make a plant look viral once tubers are planted out including pest pressure, soil health and environmental conditions.
