Is this not such a stunning dahlia? This is a late bloomer so don't fret if you don't see blooms until the end of august. The wonderfully straight stems, consistent form and color are worth the wait. It's bright and happy and easy to work into a bouquet. Blooms are about 3.5-4" across.
