Daffodil Sun Disk

This cheery daffodil has small 2" blooms! The yellow perianth (out petals) age to an beautiful ivory. They have a lovely fragrance and are one of the last daffodils to bloom of. This is a jonquilla variety which performs better in warmer climates. 

For optimal vase life harvest daffodils when their necks are bent but not yet open. Daffodils emit a toxic sap, so take care not to get it on your hands. This sap can affect other flowers in the vase. To combat this put daffodils in their own water for 3-4 hours before combining with other flowers. Don't recut your daffodils when putting them in with other flowers.
