The fluffy flowers are surrounded by lush, dark green foliage that creates a lovely backdrop for the blooms. The most cultivated peony all around the world, Sarah Bernhardt is sometimes referred to as the “queen of peonies.” In addition, it is a highly productive, tall plant that is resistant to diseases. This makes this particular cultivar ideal for use as a cut flower peony, and it will thrive both in cooler climates and under greenhouse conditions.
